Dublin South Senator Maria Corrigan has welcomed the allocation of funding for St. Mary’s National School, Lambs Cross, Sandyford.
“I’m delighted to confirm that the Tánaiste & Minister for Education and Skills Mary Coughlan T.D. has approved funding for additional accommodation at St. Mary’s National School, Lambs Cross, Sandyford.”
“The funding is being made available under the Additional Accommodation Scheme.”
“This funding will provide increased space for the school which is located in an area that has seen a major increase in population and has found itself catering for a large number of students in a very short period of time. This additional funding will further enhance the learning environment for students and working conditions for teachers.”
“This is very important for the school and the local community and further demonstrates the Government’s commitment to improving education facilities,” concluded Senator Corrigan.
