Fianna Fáil Senator Maria Corrigan has secured a commitment from the Tánaiste & Minister for Education and Skills Mary Coughlan T.D. that new classrooms will be provided to St Mary’s National School, Sandyford.
“I’m delighted to say the Tánaiste has confirmed to me that St. Mary’s National School has been approved funding for two Mainstream Classrooms,” said Senator Corrigan.
“There is an increasing number of students in St Mary’s and the school is under enormous pressure for space. This funding will be a very welcome boost and further enhance the learning environment for pupils.”
“The Building Unit of the Department of Education will be in contact with the school regarding this funding allocation,” concluded Senator Corrigan.
