There has been a boost for Wexford as 70 new jobs have been announced in an Enniscorthy based medical devices firm according to local Fianna Fáil TD John Browne.
“ClearStream which is a flagship company in Enniscorthy have just announced that there are to create 70 jobs under a major extension plan.”
“The jobs will be created over the next three years in product engineering, research and development, manufacturing and sales and marketing. The company designs and manufactures medical devices such as catheters and stents.”
“ClearStream is a very successful locally based company which already employs 230 workers so I am delighted to hear of this expansion which is being supported by the Government through Enterprise Ireland who will support a dedicated research and development centre, new product development, production facilities and management development training.”
“ClearStream’s expansion will have a hugely positive impact in Wexford and it is a statement of confidence in Wexford and the South East that they have chosen to expand here.”
“I would like to wish the staff and management of ClearSteam well in their expansion,” concluded Deputy Browne.
