Andrews supports Montrose Oral Hearing

Dublin South East T.D. Chris Andrews has said he completely supports the decision of An Bord Pleanála that an Oral Hearing is to be held on the proposed redevelopment of the RTE complex in Donnybrook.

“This is a very welcome decision by An Bord Pleanála.  I know that many people in the area are very interested in the proposed plans for Montrose and this Oral Hearing will give the public an opportunity to feed into the formal debate on the development,” said Deputy Andrews.

“I have previously arranged for St. Mary's primary school to meet with the Minister for Education to discuss expansion plans for the school. One possible option might be on the RTE campus.  There is a huge demand for primary school places in the area and I believe that is possible, RTE should play its part in supporting the community that has always supported it," concluded Deputy Andrews.
