Additional Accommodation approved for Leixlip Community School - Brady

Local TD and Minister of State Aine Brady has been informed by the Tanaiste and the Minister for Education, Mary Coughlan TD, that her Department has approved additional accommodation for Colaiste Chiaráin Community School in Leixlip.

'The approved is to provide an ASD unit in the school.'

'This announcement, taken together with the €2.5m 11 classroom extension currently underway at Scoil Choca Naofa in Kilcock, new 16 classroom school for Gaelscoil Ui Fhiach in Maynooth currently under construction, approval given to provide additional accommodation for Straffan NS, the recent completion of the extension to both the Maynooth Post Primary School and the Boys National School in Maynooth, the construction of the new school in Kill, significant investment in IT facilities in Kildare Schools and the approval given to build a new school at Ardclough. clearly demonstrate that we are making significant progress on improving our school infrastructure in North Kildare.'
