3rd level student maintenance grant schemes for 2010/2011

Details of the 3rd. level student maintenance grant schemes for the 2010/2011 year have been announced today and have been issued to Co. Wexford VEC and Wexford County Council. There are a number of significant and service improvements made with the application this year. The form is streamlined and user friendly and can be downloaded. This should result in a decrease in the number of incomplete applications received and ensure a speedier processing of grant applications. The early announcement of the 2010 scheme and the application form will enable and facilitate students in making an early application.

The income limits to qualify for the grants remain unchanged despite the downward trend in average earnings. All necessary information on the scheme are available on www.studentfinance.ie. On this website the form can be downloaded and guidance notes are available to download and complete.
