O’Connor congratulates Ben Morris on ‘FAME’ win

Dublin South West T.D. Charlie O’Connor has congratulated Ben Morris on his fantastic win in RTÉ’s FAME: The Musical.

“It was great to be in the Helix last night for Ben’s big win.  He’s a fantastic lad with great enthusiasm."

"Ben has made Tallaght very proud.  I want to thank all his supporters from Tallaght and everyone around the country who voted for him,” said Deputy O’Connor.

“I have no doubt Ben will do everyone proud in his role as ‘Nick’.  I met Ben in the Dáil recently with the local TDs and he’s very grounded and committed to his work.”

“I’m glad Ben also had the opportunity to meet the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport Mary Hanafin T.D.  The Minister often refers to nurturing our young talent in this country.  I think Ben is a great example of the talent that is out there in Ireland.”

“Ben is from Glenview and went to Tallaght Community School.  I first met him when he was taking part in the Dublin Community Games a number of years ago.”

“I want to thank Ben and his family for inviting me to join them at the Helix for the Final, it was a brilliant night and I wish Ben every success in the future,” concluded Deputy O’Connor.
