Roads in urgent need of repair

The poor condition of the main approach roads to to Bailieborough is an issue that is raised with me again and again as I meet with local residents. The Government is investing substantial funding in roads and so it is hard to understand why these roads have been allowed to deteriorate.

In the coming year €18.4 million has been allocated for regional and local roads in Cavan. I have been talking to the Council to highlight the problem and have asked that resurfacing of the worst affected roads is done as soon as possible.
